Ice Cream Sundae

as far as i can tell, a long long time ago, someone had a bowl, ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate and carmel sauce, sprinkles, marshmallows, oreo bits, and maybe cherries for garnish. then they put them all together, on a hot sunday afternoon and called their invention an ice cream sundae. that there is my historical fiction account of how ice cream sundaes were invented. there is a bit of tuth to it though. i made and ate this wonderful creation on father's day (which was a sunday) and used all the ingredients above. it wasn't a hot sunday though. but besides that, the rest of it is true. in fact, it was so good that i went back and made a second one to eat. i foresaw this happening and decided to make this first one light on the ice cream and heavy on the whipped cream and condiments. i did that again for the second one. because honestly, most of the flavor comes from the toppings, not the ice cream. you can see more images from the day here. 10/10 (it was that good. and also very colorful, which makes for a nice picture)
